Salaam everyone,
here is a little guide on how i started my lemon seedlings.
ToDo list:
1)Remove coating of the seeds
2)Put in wet paper towel (completely covered), inside a plastic bag in a warm spot
3)Plant them
After you collected the seed(s) wash them of, when you washed al seed(s) you can peele the outer skins(2 layers) of.
1)To peel it, i recommend useing a cutter and do it carefully. cut around the outer edge of the outer casing of the seed when you have made a small incision you can peele it open with your fingers.
The layers will come of easily , but becareful of damaging the inner seed. Once the first layes is removed you will see a brown layer that layer can also be removed what you have left is the inner seed.
2)put them over a wet paper towel in a sealed plastic bag, in almost full sun
(Within a week the seed will open and begin to start growing a root)
3)when the root is big enough (about 3 cm's ,thats roughly after 2 weeks) you can plant them.
