salaam...
I didn't grow any peas last season and today i was in the shop and saw small garden pea seedlings being sold at a reasonable price.. 1.78 for 12 seedlings ( mangetout) never grown them before... ill see if i can find some room in the veg patch to plant them in, or maybe some pots with a bamboo cane to support the vine :) ill let you know what i do :)

Yum! I wish I'd thought to grow peas... next year maybe?? I'd love to try some snap peas, those things are delicious lightly sautee'd with a little garlic.

Here a pic of peas I have harvested today.
I got my seeds from a seed swap at work and started the plants in egg tray. Last year I planted them stright into the ground and got one branch, :( so this year I started the pea seeds off in egg trays and they worked a treat.
Attached are two pics. Once of the pea plants growing and other of the peas.

Ws.. Yeh it's great. Manage to get things I wouldn't usually grow/
It's a shame I've not been growing long, so currently concentrating on getting the crops to grow.. Hoping to get into the different varieties next year. :)
I might start a new topic called Bottle Gourd, as I'm growing that this year as an expeirment and it's doing really well. So exciting.
