yes, tulips make wonderful cut flowers, i grew about 50 this year.
had 2 colours and they were red with black inside and the other was pink, because i planted them very close together they produced a wonderful display in my front garden and lasted for about 2 weeks. my neighbours were jelous:p
the thing i noticed was that the flowers are fully open mid-day and then they close back at night time and re-open the next day!
wonderful spring bedding plants!

nope I don't really cut any of the flowers in the garden, main ones I cut will be roses for display :GreenThumbs:Although I'm sure the tulips would look good cos they are very tall!
pomegranate: I noticed that abou the tulips too, its so amazing to see them close when it gets dark!
