I found 3 poppies in my garden last year so when they produced the seed heads I collected all the seeds and stored them in an envelope over winter :cheerleader: So now I planted them into little seed trays, its been a few weeks I have kept them indoors so far because they look so delicate and small! But they seem to be going a bit wiggly and wavy (uh-oh!) what should I be doing O Master Poppy Seed Growers?! :cheerleader:

i grow poppies too, after a while they are a pest and a nuisance LOL.. i have 2 jars full of them, ya know its a great looking flower, really slender and the flowers are pretty....
they are not good at being transplanted though, they like to be left alone, are you growing them in the ground or containers ? its best to plant them right away....
ill show ya pics later on :)

I am growing them in seed trays, I thought to move them when they are a bit bigger? Not sure how they woudl do in the garden, probbaly get covered up by other wild plants/ weeds!! I may avoid thinning them out then and just transfer the whole thing to a pot or ground later....I think they look lovely! Even as a nuisance! :D

just broadcast them ( scatter ) in fluffy loose soil and they will grow like crazy....
