basil.. outdoors

You get lots of seeds in one pack.... i sowed my seeds in a terracotta pot.. given optimum light each seed can grow into a 2 foot bushy plant, but i will be sowing lots of seeds in one pot and i will thin out if i need to... when you grow lots of seeds in one pot , the seedlings compete for moisture and root space, that's cool, the leaves wont be as big if there was only one seedling growing in one pot, but i am ok with it, the small leaves are just as tasty and smell awesome too :)

I've grown my basil indoors this year, after waiting 2 weeks they finally germinated and I have tiny cute 2 leaf seedlings! Will most likely keep indoors intil they are much bigger!

my basil seeds are just sprouting now, they're in pots, can't wit for them to grow bigger.

the seedlings have not grown one tiny iota.... must be the cold temps espically in the evenings..... i may sow more later on...

the indoor basil i left outdoors for 3 weeks now, after i hardened it off,, its growng ok i feel It needs a few more sunny days to make it bush out i pinched out the top leafs from each branch hoping they will spread and bush out like last year :)
