purple Echinacea - from seed

i sowed them in pots , 3 seeds per pot ( seedling pots) keep in room temps and within 7 -15 days they will germinate..

keep them near the windowsill and plant outdoors in garden or pots around mid may :)

they have grown a little since my last post, still indoors at a windowsill, may have to separate them on a later date :)

How big?tall do they grow? Are the good bedding plants?

The ones I have have double flower heads, dwarf variety so are good for borders, filling in gaps and baskets etc :up:

yes tania they bloom all summer...

and its a perennial, meaning it will come back for the next 2 seasons too :)

finally it has flowered, cant believe i grew this from one tiny seed and now its blooming with one pink flower at the moment..

i started this plant from a seed in mid April and now it has grown to a healthy plant in a smallish container.. so next season i will plant it in the ground... its a perennial so it will come back every season for the next 3 years or so and can also be divided by the rootball too make many more plants..

i am glad this is in the ground and now it has multiple stems.. cant wait next year to divide from the root ball and have even more plants were i can pot them on in different part of the garden, i grew this from a seed last season..
