I have been using an online program http://www.plangarden.com/ to make detailed plans for my vegetable garden. The current status of my 2010 plans can be seen at: http://www.plangarden.com/app/index.php?userID=22468

I have been planning for next planting season and ordering new crops and new varieties of crops we have already grown. I have found that plangarden.com is a good tool for planning vegetable gardens.

Yes, that is an open cotton boll. When mature, the boll opens to expose the seed cotton. The fiber grows out from the seed coat and is separated by ginning. I am a cotton breeder and have worked with the crop for 25 years. I love breeding cotton and am amazed that Allah would create such a plant that we can clothe ourselves with, alhamdulillah.

Its very complicated :shy:Is it the PlanGarden site that is complicated? I am a big planner. I used to design my garden with a simple CAD program until I came across this site. I make my plans and then revise them about a dozen times before planting time comes. I love to try new varieties and to see what works best in my area.

Saturday(9 april) i will go with 2 students to a school fair and i have to arrange a bench(around 80 cm*80 cm) with a mini garden. The students company "sell" plants and flower. I have a limited budget and i want the bench to look perfect.
Every idea will be appreciated:o

How about herbs? Sometimes you can pick these up quite cheaply (it is too late for 9th April to start off your own); and things like thyme, parsley, coriander, will look lovely in a small garden. If you are planning for next year, start your own herbs in pots now and keep them over winter. By this time net year they will be a good size and ready for planting out.
Good luck.
