Pear Trees!

Anyway my parents have had a pear tree for quite a few years and mashAllah it used to give loads of pears and so tasty!

But last few years its not given as many plus it looks sick...the leaves have this kinda orange growth on them....anyone else experienced this?

how long has it been there,, i now after maybe a decade or so, it slows dies.. giving less fruit every year

ah ok...yeah i think it may be about a decade....

they have had that house now for about 17 years....and they planted it a few years after they got the house.


well they are going to pull it out this weekend.... and plant a new one next year inshAllah

Conference pears are really tasty, great fibre or so my grandma tells me, season to gather the pears I guess, have your parents thought of trying a different variety of pears for next year? Comice pears are nice as well, usually not as 'crunchy' or sweet though.
