I bought a jade plant today, because my good friend dragged me with him to the hardware store to buy a grill. :GreenThumbs:

It desperately, desperately needs to be repotted! That'll be my plan for the day, after class...

Duly repotted (and in a plastic cup no less... I am pot-less again, but at least this time I cut lots of holes in it). And I have a bunny ears plant made from leaves that broke off (and will hopefully grow roots)!

Well the bunny ears rotted (I definitely watered way too much... :( ) but at least the main plant seems to be doing quite well, the top baby leaves have definitely been growing and look like they might be ready to open up soon. I've been watering with a plastic spoon, about 10 spoonfuls of water every week, nothing else, and it's in partial sun.

The top two leaves have opened up nicely, at about a 35 degree angle now and still working on it :)

I wanted to share a pic of my other succulent - somebody threw out a branch of this thing and I picked it up, but by then it was almost completely dead. I just stripped all the leaves off of the vine and tossed them in the lemon pot since I've heard that it's supposed to be really easy to root succulents (didn't happen with my dying aloe though :( ) and forgot about it. Look at my teeny tiny little baby sprout!!! :D

Nice chunky leaves, will you keep at is a sort of bonsai tree? Probably a while till the stem turns into bark though?

I think that's my plan :) (Sorry I just realized that was awhile ago...)

It's at home chilling (no pun intended) in my parents' home now, which is a lot farther north than school, so it's not too happy right now. But it is starting to branch which makes me really excited!

The top is branching nicely and there's a tiny little bud in the joint of a lower leaf, so I can't wait to see that develop!

Sorry my desk is so messy :( but it's branching out a lot more, I intend to move it into a bigger pot this weekend after my exams are over... hopefully I can do a better job of planting it straight too :)
