I was passing by a nursery about 2 months ago and came across some interesting fruit trees. To my surprize as I am a complete noob to gardening I found out that I could grow lemons in my living room. Tada! I snatched the Meyer lemon tree witch had 2 lemons on it already. Haven't re-potted it yet. It is very emotional and wilts when ever it pleases and it even used to have brown scale fits. It seems to be under control now. I even have a small colony of jumping spiders protecting it 24 hours 7 days a week. I planted all the seeds I could get out of my meyer lemons and they are all finally sprouting. Here are some pics of my meyer lemon adventures:

Can you see the jumping spider in the second picture?

Those lemon trees look great, especially the little seedling! :)

I'm thinking of growing one of these, how long did it take for the seed to sprout? Also how big did the lemons get on your larger trees?

When I planted all my meyer seeds it took them about a month to a month and a half to germinate. I have noticed that the ones in terricotta pots are thriving compared to the ones in the green plastic pots. I guess the terricotta breaths easier. They love the full sun too. I am going to try and throw some updated pics to show you muslim growers what my meyer tree has done since the last post. I am lookinf forward to growing these seedlings because I hear you can bonsai these meyers. I saw a vid on youtube here is a link:
