I remember Riz using old baskets etc to grow stuff in and it looking really nice!!
So I came across this on Gumtree, not sure if anyone lives nearby but they could go pick it up for free and use it for plants!! :)

Hehe...well if there is anyone giving away a free ag of ladybugs can I have them please?! I have sooooooo many aphids on lots of my flowers and veg but I have yet to see a single ladybird in my garden :eek: there are none at all!!
What plants/ flowers attract ladybirds cos I need some quickly! :p

I have not seen any in my garden yet zee.. but you can buy the ladybug larvae online and grow your own ladybugs , they sell them at amazon .com lol

Ze, this might suit you better regards ladybird larvae... your little one can watch ladybird larvae hatch and become ladybirds, then you can release them in the garden :sunny:

although I just saw that you have to buy the larvae separately so it might be more expensive :( when I first read it it looked like it came with the larvae. but anyway it's an idea :)

wouldn't it be funny if you hatched the larvae and the lady birds flew away into next door neighbours garden and feasted on there aphids :)
