as-salamu aleykum and hello!

I have in my garden artichokes and i would like to add other perennials of vegetable. Does someone have an idea about?

great question :)

i can only think of onions,asparagus,broccoli at the moment and some salads

Strawberries apparently!! A relative of mine deweeded an area of her garden to find the strawberry plants underneath! And this was after the coldest winter we have had here in the UK in many years!

WaAlaykum AsSalaam umm z,

What a great idea for a thread, a way of getting fruit/veg time after time without starting from seed each time! Maybe it should be renamed 'Edible Perennials' though, because the last time I checked strawberries were a fruit :p

From last year i have in the garden strawberries and sorrel:

I've had chives come up themselves this year and also spinach! And mint always comes up stronger than ever.

My mums had strawberries and potatoes come up again from last year
