So I finally identified the random seeds that I planted :p and funnily enough, it's fenugreek! Here's a picture (if you're wondering why they're so exposed I took the pic to ask y'all to identify them, but I searched the net and found out anyway) but I'm ecstatic because they germinated, outdoors and within a few days!

Hmm...seems like they'll do well in any conditions, but do they need loads of sun? If not then I can plant them in the shady area (got plenty of shade :p).

And here's a picture of the intended result...how tall do they get?

It grows quite fast! I don't think you let it become a proper plant though, and especially not till it flowers? Mine were small, like 3 or 4 leaves when I picked them and used them up? Something like this:

Can you see each stem has about 3 or 4 leaves on it? And they are not very tall? But don't pick them when they are still 2 leaves it will be too bitter to eat!
