Mini small print: (obviously i have to make this ridiculously tiny and conspicuous)This guide is just for fertiliser boosts, it is not designed to replace ferts, only to reduce thier necessity. these are based on the more easily available items in most homes
here are some tips to make some home made fertilisers
Nitrogen: a important part of plant growth, most noticeably foliage
coffee grounds
eggshells
feathers
nutshells
peanut shells
my favourite is the eggshells(maybe because i eat loads of eggs)
Phosphorus: flowers are helped by phosphorus as well as other stuff
potato skins
pea pods
skins of most fruit
manure probably the best and it has good amounts of the other two aswell
Pottasium: ideal for nutrient transition in roots
the best way seems to bee fruit skins and pods, i recommend cutting very finely to speed up degrading process
soil acidification: most pants prefer slightly acidic soil,
take some white vinegar mix 1 part to 10 parts water, every 7-8 weeks, or sooner depending on acid requirement.
