Hi, there is a calendar on this forum which can potentially be used to mark down dates when it is most prefer to do planting for a particular plant.
if one member marks a date can all members view it or is it all private as in i can only view what i marked?

Hi, sakeena..
sorry i took so long, i have just been having a look at it..
quite handy for knowing "when to plant" ( like you said)

ps, i think only Admin can write in or change calender dates,

i can see mine, and i cant see yours either.. check mine in april
"monday 8th of april "time to plant potatos"
hmm, ill have to check my admin cpanel, maybe i have to "make calender public"

i can see yours "You can 'plant' your seed potatoes in April - early April in warmer areas, late April where late frosts are common."

somehow i will figure out a way of changing the colour of the word "calender" maybe into yellow everytime someone pencils in a new date, or maybe make it flash

ps.. i just noticed if you go to the bottom of the main page , it lets you know.... "todays events"

At the bottom of the main page were it says What's Going On? scroll down a bit further and you will see "Todays events"
ps. you deleted the date so it has gone... it only comes up when a date is added

Just added some dates on the calender, you can check by clicking on the calender (http://www.muslimgrower.com/discussionforum/calendar.php) ... or you can go to the bottom of the main page and click were it says "todays events"

All registered users can post events,edit there own events, and delete them.

some new dates have been added to the calender..... some reacuring events.

Just a quick post.
The calender is open to all members and you can pencil in dates as you wish.. the link is at the top of the forum "calender" you can check out daily events by scrolling to the bottom of the main forum and under "todays events"
