Its a 9-10 years old walnut tree. The people avoid to have this tree in the garden because its get real big. Also, because its near to fence the neighbour cut the branches from his property.

I like nuts and i like to pick them up from the ground too. When they are really fresh, you have to clean up from the green shell and your hands get a green-brownish colour, which is not coming out to easy. Its so easy to see who likes the fresh nuts. :p

They are not trees for hot climate. We had -20 celsius for several days and the tree is fine.

Under the green shell its the nut:

Did you plant the tree? If so how did you germinate it? :)

I think you could try from a nut if you will not find in the shop small nut trees. The nut tree was in the garden when we bought the house. I didn't ask the ex-owner too much info about him but i will try this year to treat him. His leaves are getting brownish.

:p Can you post a picture of a 'green nut' and also when they are still on the trees please? I'm rather curious as to what that'd look like.

Thank you! If I saw those on a tree I'd think they were some sort of fruit:p

You can grow a tree from a nut. I have 2 small trees which are growing from nuts. I will show you pics with them. I will not keep the trees because they grow very big and my garden its very small.
