germination video for newbies......

I have already posted one of these 2 minute vids in other threads, but i will make this a sticky so all newbies can see how germination is done visually..

please watch these videos and if you have any questions inshallah we can all get together and address them in this thread.. As you can see its pretty straight forward and easy to do..... and the same technique can be used for all herbs/salad etc....

salad leaves and basil can be grown through the year right until end of summer.. its best to do a 'perpetual harvest" as in get small amounts of salad/basil/coriander/thyme/dill etc... every couple of weeks,

so one can sow salad leaves and in another 2 weeks sow some more salad leaves, this way you wont be left with lots of salad in the fridge, and as you all know salad doesn't keep well and loses its crispness and crunchiness after around 5 days...
