I bought some Angels Trumpet (Brugmansia Arborea) seeds off ebay, it said they were really easy to grow from seeds. Now it's been about 2 weeks since I sowed them and nothings happened yet... I know I'm probably just being paranoid and impatient, but has anyone else got any experience with these? If so how long did they take to sprout? :) And is it possible to keep the plants small-ish if I keep them in pots or do they grow big anyway?

i read somewhere it takes between 6 to 8 weeks for germination.... its a tropical plant so my guess would be that the seeds probably need warmth to germinate in 6-8 weeks.. maybe temps at 25c

i germinated angel's trumpet seeds in our hot summers of 100F and they germinated within 3 days but i had soaked them overnight in water plus after sowing i had packed them inside a polythene bag. Seeds were good sized to handle.

normally angel's trumpet grow to atleast 5 feet unless a smallish variety. you can keep them in pot to restrain them. if you live in zones less than 9 then i think they would be happy in a pot. mines are going crazy in a pot. not flowered yet :)
