Growing flowers indoors

I absolutely adore tulips, stunning creation of God i say...

Anyway i do know i am a little late to start growing them now :(

Anyways, what kind of flowers are suitable to grow indoors, and when?

I personally LOVE Christmas cactuses - they have these gorgeous strings of flowers at the end. We have a red/pink mixed one at home...

i am not sure bout your climate but we had spathiphyllum-peace lily blooming indoors in the office. sadly they were stolen:D It is one of the best air purifier plant as well. not growing in my home because children will not spare it.

Another plant which we dare to grow inside is impatiens - bizzie lizzies. although it is a spring annual here.
