I have a 6 x 8ft one to assemble Allhamdulilah (or rather husband has!). Does anyone have and if so, do you use sealent on the polycarb sheets when assembling?

i shouldn't think so, they should fit into the joints.. all the D.I.Y info should be in the manual..

No the instructions do not say that, but I read on the net somewhere that using sealent can stop the plastic (it is just plastic after all!!) panes being blown out in winds; wondered if anyone had any experience of doing that

The Poly panels should have clips that hold them in place but becoz they are lighter than glass panels (and they never give u enough clips!) strong winds can blow them out so yes you could use a sealant - but make sure to go with a clear Polycarbonate sealant (link below) not the cheapo stuff and apply it in dry non-windy conditions.

When I was taking Arabic (I'm not a native speaker), we learned to say "Allhamdulilah" kind of as a form of "bless you" when someone sneezes. But UmmZubair uses it differently. What is the exact translation of the word & in what context would you use it? I'm just curious..

The basic translation of the phrase is "all praise be to allah" - how come your arabic teacher didn't explain the translations for these phrases?

It is used in many contexts, upon good things and bad things, and u will even hear many muslims using it as a reply to greetings such as 'how are u', instead of saying: I'm not too bad or ok (like i used to:) ).
