keep getting spammed by same person

Every few days I get a PM from the same guy, XRumerBestoZ, with the same message (about some supposedly really cool program. yeah, right.) The weird thing is that he's not even on the members' list and when I click on his username, I get "Kirsten, you are not allowed to view this page" message.

Is this happening to anyone else?

No. I don't receive pm from him but i wonder why are several users which choose so wierd names. I see often here names what i even can't pronounce.

i delete 12 spammers day on M.G, sometimes they steal email headers just to trick you to click on a hyperlink that will take you to a porn site... so we had to start moderating new members

that USERNAME " XRumerBestoZ" is a spammer( BOTS) this username has been deleted... lots of websites have had the same usernames doing the same thing... just ignore all emails from muslimgrower users apart from emails from ADMIN in future

we will be using new software inshallah "re-Captcha" will should slow down the spam rate... but its not 100%

* i have disabled Users to E-mail Other Members through MG forums now or see there email addresses.. lets see how it works out :)

In future if MG emails users, they will be sent emails from admin@muslimgrower.com and no other email addresses

spammers and BOTS.. they use bots to register, but now we moderate all users, they cant get through.... apart from register with weird names :) when the spammers register they have to follow a link that we send in there emails but they seldom do...

most of the spammers are russian and latvian recently. I noticed they steal other peoples email addys when spamming users on websites, so the people who own the email addys dont even know its happening.. but we at MG are vigilant but every now and again one gets through..

Yeah the spammers have been registering like crazy, they [at least] doubled the members list before Riz started deleting them!!

if anyone else is receiving P.m`s from newly registered members with links to porn or free software just contact a MOD with their user names and the P.M they sent you and it will be dealt with real quick.

yeah sarah .RU are the russian spammers.

they steal other peoples email addys but have a russian I.P

most of them use G.mail accounts but i don't ban email domains as someone genuine might want to register with a g mail account..

i usually delete all of them on the end of the month..

I can't understand what pleasure find this spammers to ruin other people days (wasted time to delete the messages, accounts). Lets hope they will dissapear in time :)

Its not really a big issue too be honest with you, when the spammers register they still cant post or see chat profiles or see the calender only surf until admin gives them permission , i just delete the ones that are spammers when i log on.
