Here's how it looked as of a few days ago:

You can probably see that the stolen tom has gotten ridiculously tall and is now being supported by the pineapple, such sisterly love among my plants :) and the lemon on the other side is doing pretty well. In the top left corner you can see the avocado - I've got another smaller one that isn't visible in this picture, I'll post pics of that one later. Aloes are also not here - this is the sunniest part of the room (though this pic was taken at night) and I'm trying to keep those things from getting burnt!
I'll update with a pic every month or so :)

the lemon tree is looking good i like the look of it..
and "tom cruise" the tomato plant isn't looking to shabby either.. inshallah if you can keep it growing till mid march, maybe you can take cuttings if it and grow them on :)
nice little corner of goodies you have going :)

I'm at home right now, but I'll post an update when I get back. I'm kind of nervous actually - one of my friends who lives local took them all home with her. I know she'll take excellent care of them, but they're like my babies - I can't help but be nervous!
My room's been shifted around a little now so that they're on a dresser and higher up = more light. Oh, and I'll have to post a picture of the rabbit flower pot dandelion boy bought for me, since he knows I love rabbits. :)

Strawberry seeds - I left them to stratify in the fridge for about 5 weeks before I took them out, and now I'm waiting for them to germinate. Never done this before so I hope it works :)
(and yes, that was a takeout food container)

OK, some updates:
- The upside down container is now gone (used to hold other junk now) and the garden has moved to the top of my dresser, which is a lot sunnier and has more space (the dresser was previously under my bed, which just wasted a lot of space there too.) That's the bunny pot dandelion boy bought for me :)

I came home from class today to find a nice surprise:

Strawberry sprouts! They're tiny in that pic (I couldn't get a clearer picture, they were so small) so I circled them in red. There are four right now - I think I sprinkled almost all the seeds from the package onto there. Not really sure how I'm going to separate them later though :(

hey respect to D.B ( dandelion boy) for picking out a cool bunny pot :) i really like it..
if you use an old spoon and scoop them out like i did over at the passiflora thread.. you will be able to separate them individually i think. espically if the soil is dry and it crumbles apart..
please let me know how you get on...
look i used a spoon and scooped out the whole rootball including dirt ( nice and gentle though)

If I can find a baby spoon, I'll try it LOL... my sprouts are probably only a few millimeters tall, so I'm going to let them continue to grow in there for awhile longer before I try to move them.
