Website Recommendations

Here are a few websites I have found to be quite helpful. If you have any more please feel free to add them. I usually look for ones that are useful for growing things in the UK clime, but hopefully they should be at least a bit useful to all others too.

The Royal Horticultural Society (http://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/index.asp) - I find this one useful for finding out which plants I can plant in the UK and alot more besides

Gardeners World (http://www.gardenersworld.com/) - I find this one very valuable, especially the how-to section, it has guides on the basics of gardening plus much more (you can also see this in the link in the pest forum)

Garden Action (http://www.gardenaction.co.uk/vegetable-index.asp) - I find that this one has some easy to follow information pages, especially on vegetables

Go Self Sufficient.co.uk (http://www.goselfsufficient.co.uk/) - Has some good general information on growing fruit and veg, and keeping animals

Huw's Pleasure Garden (http://www.personal.u-net.com/~treetops/home.html) - Awesome site with some great tutorials (written and illustrated) on how to germinate some exotic plants.

Escape to Dhikr-tory (http://escapetodhikrtory.blogspot.com/) - This guy is/was living the dream!!!! It's like the simple lodge blog with a muslim author, VERY intriguing and interesting masha'Allah!!! I was hooked, but he stopped blogging in 2007 :(

I like this site. it is basic but has some pretty interesting articles. It is mostly about wrought iron patio furniture (http://wroughtironpatiofurniturehq.com/) but as lots of varied articles.
